Instagram post 2193884117576217875_7656108 This morning at St. Lawrence Market. 0° with no one anywhere in sight.Infuriating - I'm sure the owner's head would explode if the dog were stolen and we'd end up with posters and social media postings all over the place. And I would feel terrible for them, but this is so easily avoided by simply leaving the dog at home. Ugh. #doglife #hardofthinking
Instagram post 2190829690959424648_7656108 Next up in the insomnia series...a test image with me as the subject and the final with my friend/illustrator @heathergerl21 for 2014's CAPIC Double Vision competition. I can juggle one ball maybe, so there was a bit of compositing going on here. Shot in my living room with Bob the Dog supervising. #nikond300 #nikon #goingforthejuggler
Instagram post 2190195647569864480_7656108 Another blast from the past as I roll through the archives here. I know the last few times I've gone up Highway 10 I haven't seen this place, so I guess it finally gave up the ghost. This was made in 2012. #oldhouses #gonebutnotforgotten #nikon #nikond300 #nikcollection
Instagram post 2189240759553645975_7656108 As best I can recall this is the very first entertainment photo I made, of Maceo Parker. This was on June 20, 2008 down at what's now Rebel on Polson street, using my trusty - and just sold - Canon Powershot G9. I figured I wouldn't be able to use a DSLR so I brought this instead. I was wrong, but the Powershot served me well, and did right through until a couple of years ago. I used it for quite a few years video recording workshop participants practicing presentations. I still have a G11, but I never liked it as much as that G9. #jazztoronto #jazz #maceoparker #canonG9

Instagram post 2183762361263927495_7656108 A little trip into the archives here - from the 2012 Grand Burlesque show in Montréal. Images like this where the audience is right in there with the performers are some of my favourites. This one in particular reminds me of that terrific and sadly cancelled show - Carnivàle. The performers here are Andreanne and Santosh. #burlesque #montrealburlesque #smallstage #cabaret #nikon #nikond300 #nikcollection
