Chris Hutcheson is a Toronto-based photographer. He specializes in live performance and event photography.

“I’m particularly interested in that point where the performer is fully engaged in their performance – whether that means something happening within the performer, or their involvement with the audience.

Performers and clients appreciate my ability to be unobtrusive while capturing images from a variety of perspectives, and quick in turning completed images around for their use.

I’ve worked extensively with the Canadian Opera Company on their Free Concert Series, mainstage productions and special events. My work for them has appeared in a wide range of web-based and print promotional materials, and in articles in the Toronto Star and other media outlets.

I’ve photographed events for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Music in the Barns, Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, TD Bank, Ontario Arts Foundation, Benchmark Performance Inc. and the Literary Review of Canada.

I’ve done promo work for the Graham Howes Band and other musical and performing groups and organizations, including Toronto and Montreal Burlesque Festivals as well as a variety of events at the Great Hall.

I’m also an experienced fine art printer capable of printing on a variety of materials  in sizes up to 44″ x 10′. I’ve printed work for a number of artists in the Toronto area.
