It’s always great to see performers succeed. I particularly like it when I’ve been lucky enough to photograph them on the local circuit or festivals, throughout or at some point in their careers. It was a triple header in this case to have photographed Vicky Butterfly at 2015’s Toronto Burlesque Festival, see her place within the top 50 in the 21st Century Burlesque’s annual rankings for 2016 and to see that she used one of my photos as her profile image.
