I recently posted an image on Facebook and Instagram of the wonderful Imogen Quest. The Revival is one of my favourite clubs, Imogen is one of my favourite performers to shoot. and I particularly like to capture images of performers interacting with and/or surrounded by the audience. Of course, their long bar is good for that. It’s also not that well lit through it’s entire length. That was the case with this particular image from the recent Worship:A burlesque tribute to American Gods produced by Legendary Burlesque. Very little lighting made for an interesting photography and post-processing adventure, both in camera and later, in Adobe Lightroom.
Herewith my settings in Lightroom. I also split toned the image and added a little vignetting.
